i've been playing for a few hours total now. i just realized that WoW is like Elder Scrolls V: Oblivion. I absolutlely loved ESIV: Morrowwind on Xbox so i splurged and bought Oblivion for computer (even though i can't play it because the integrated graphics card isn't good enough). as i was running through the town looking for someone to complete a quest at i thought that this would be better to have a directional arrow like GW. i then started comparing all the games i know that have quest arrows vs. those that don't. that's when i realized WoW is just MMOOblivion....
everyone is the hero, everyone can go anywhere, you have to spend countless hours leveling up, you try to pick everything up (at least for awhile), but maybe there isn't a main storyline.
