been away.
yeah, i've been away for awhile. my 10-day free trial expired and then there was Christmas. i've been busy with a new Xbox 360 (playing ESIV: Oblivion). I intend to sit down and write a synopsis of my thoughts on WoW. until then, play on.

Warrior - lvl 12
I'm soooo tired of this game right now. this isn't specific to WoW though...i get like this with Guild Wars too. I'm just tired of the grinding and continuous questing for random stuff.
and on WoW right now, i sure wish i had some henchmen or friends to help me out.

Realms vs. Districts
so everything i read on 'realms' is that unless you want to spend $25 every month to move your character once you make him, he's stuck there. the idea i'm getting from this is that in order to play in a group with your friends, you all have to have characters on the same realm.
this may be the normal thing for MMORPGs but i'm used to Guild Wars where anyone can meet up with anyone and form a party to play together. in GW, your characters are all stored somewhere and when you log on you appear inside a town/outpost. each outpost is instanced into multiple districts (where necessary). so say i've been playing for awhile and a friend logs on. He can tell me he's in Ascalon in district 3 and then i can just join him there to form a group. GW adds districts as the number of players get larger so that the districts don't get overwhelmed.
